Mommy and Daddy went to the doctor for a detailed growth ultrasound to check on Owen's new Baby Brother. Unfortunately, we thought it was going to rain, so we had decided last night that Owen would stay home today with Grandma Truong. And then the weather was perfect today, so Owen missed out on an exciting outing. That's all right, we have pictures to share with Owen and Grandma Truong.
Today, Owen's Baby Brother weighs in at a hefty 5-lbs 6-oz and is on track for his due date, according to the doctor. Starting next week, Mommy will have to visit her doctor 3 times a week until the baby is born. This will mean more time away from Owen which makes Mommy very sad. And it's getting kinda difficult to drive to the doctor's appointment each week because Mommy's tummy started hitting the steering wheel. Anyway, with careful monitoring and continued restricted activity/bedrest, we hope to keep to this schedule with the baby's arrival which should be 5 weeks and 5 days from today. Hopefully, this will buy us a couple more hours to prepare for the baby's arrival.
Mommy counted the hours we have and it's about 2 hours of activity (we have to fit this into Owen's nap/feeding schedule and Daddy's work on the weekend) per weekend day until the baby is born...so that's less than 24 hours to prepare for the baby's arrival IF the baby is not early.

I am so happy for you! These last weeks are going to fly by. Did you ever think you would be a mommy of two so quickly? So exciting!
