Doctor's appointment

Today, Owen saw his pediatrician for the first time and did quite well considering that he received 4 shots (2 in each thigh) and a TB skin test.

Here is Owen getting weighed. Today, at eight months, Owen weighed 21-lbs and is 30 1/4 inches long, which places him off the charts for height and in the 75th percentile for weight. What a big boy we have!

Here's Owen shortly before getting his shots. He's a happy camper! He didn't like the shots at all, not because they hurt, but because he had to be restrained. He cried a little, but then stopped shortly after Daddy picked him up and gave him his bottle.

Overall, Owen tolerated the doctor fine. He has another appointment in 4 weeks, so we'll see if he remembers the traumatic shots at all.
