We've been very busy this holiday season. Owen and Dash's uncle on Mommy's side just got married, so we had family to entertain. Owen and Dash were on their best behaviors for boys and everyone thought they were cute!
Daddy has also been working longer hours to meet deadlines, so Mommy, Owen and Dash have been bonding everyday without any competition from anyone else (Grandma Truong went home to help prepare for the wedding and to recuperate from eye surgery).
It hasn't been bad at all being alone with 2 kids. Everyday, we go out in the double stroller at least once (weather permitting). The boys nap promptly at noon each day. Most of the time, their naps overlap, so I get some free time to clean the house, do laundry, make dinner and bathe Dash without worrying about Owen getting into trouble (Dash usually gets up before Owen).
We spend a lot of time at home (especially the last few days with the torrential rain) playing with puzzles, reading books and destroying the house. It's been harder/impossible to keep the house clean since Dash started walking. He's a great walker and prefers walking EVERYWHERE. Now both boys get into everything.
Here are some pictures from the past few weeks. We're looking forward to this Christmas with our boys. Owen knows what toys are now, so it will be fun for him on Christmas morning. And Dash just gets a kick out of seeing Owen smile and hearing him laugh, so it will also be an exciting time for Dash (for different reasons).
Here are Owen and Dash in the shopping cart at our Albertson's in the San Elijo Town Center.

Here's Dash crawling around the kitchen.

Here's Owen running by as Mommy tries to take a picture of his beautiful face.

Most families put their presents under the tree and hang their stockings on the fireplace mantle. Our family, places the presents on the dining room table out of reach of the children. One of these days, we'll be normal again. Until then, this table is great!
