The Adventures of the Karpp Brothers: Lots going on...

Well, we've been busy in San Diego with visitors and outings for the boys. We haven't had a free weekend since the beginning of August. Each weekend is chock full of activities. And since we got our new double stroller, we've be out more frequently.

Owen and Dash are growing up so fast. Owen is starting to talk again. We often catch him walking around the house repeating his consonants. Even though his speech isn't as advanced as his motor skills, he's very smart. He understands everything we say.

Dash has been cooing since his third month, but now he purs too. It's very cute. at 5 months, Dash started to get on his hands and knees to lunge forward. And a few days shy of 6 months, he started doing the military crawl...which only means, crawling and walking aren't far behind. Dash also outgrew his infant car seat, so he inherited Owen's old car seat. He seems to like it more, but still cries whenever we put him in it. He seems to cry less, but he still has his moments...

Over the last few weekends, we had visits from our friends from Virginia. Scot and Valerie has a son who is 3.5 months older than Owen. Very cute little boy. When they were out here visiting, we went to the San Diego Zoo. Owen enjoyed running around at the zoo while Dash slept most of the time in his stroller. We got annual passes, so we plan to take the boys back for another visit at the zoo, very soon.

After our friends left, Aunt Heather and Uncle Doug came to visit and we went to Legoland with them. Owen didn't ride many rides, but he had fun running around with Daddy, while Mommy and Dash hung out near the stroller. We also got annual passes for Legoland, so we will be back with the boys for another visit.
