Hot summer days

The weather's been really hot in San Diego. There were days when it's so hot outside that Owen and Dash wear just their diapers and onesies all day long and we keep them indoors to stay cool. Dash and Owen is starting to interact with each other more and more. It's pretty neat watching them play with each other.

Owen and Dash had their doctor's appointments recently. Owen at 15 months weighs in at 26 lbs 4 oz and stands 34.5 inches tall. He's doing amazingly well. Owen has 18 teeth and eats like a lumberjack. He still takes a combination of whole milk and formula, eats 3 solid meals a day in addition to 3-4 snacks. He runs really well and can climb stairs, chairs, and anything that would support his weight. His verbal skills is progressing and it seems like he's understanding more and more Chinese, English and Vietnamese. Overall, Owen is happy and healthy. What more can we ask?

Dash at 4 months weighs in at 16 lbs 2 oz and is 26.5 inches long. He's also doing amazingly well. Dash started rolling over at 3.5 months and at 4 months, started to get on his hands and knees to rock back and forth. At 4.5 months, Dash started to lunge forward as he's on his hands and knees. He's also doing the military crawl. While on his tummy, he'll focus on an object and crawl after it. If the object is moved, he'll going in the new direction to reach the object. He seems to also be teething because he's constantly drooling and he grinds his gums like he's chewing on something.
